AICCM offers a free six-month introductory membership for new tertiary students. Ongoing concession membership costs $44 per year, including GST.

Make contacts

Contact your local AICCM Division to find out what activities are planned for your State, or to find out how you can become involved in AICCM activities. Your local division President can also raise student issues at National Council meetings.
Students at the Centre for Cultural Materials Conservation at the University of Melbourne have formed a student group - SC@M (Student Conservators @ Melbourne). SC@M have a student representative on the Victorian Division committee.

Emerging Conservation Professionals Group - a forum set up by the AIC for those new to the profession.
Critical issues in art conservation - A blog featuring posts by students in the Johns Hopkins University course "Critical Issues in Art Conservation" (Spring 2010).
Wikipedia Saves Public Art - Beginning in 2009, this project was piloted by students participating in the Fall 2009 IUPUI Museum Studies Course at India/Purdue University in Indianopolis (IUPUI). Students identified all of the public artworks on and nearby the IUPUI campus and then created articles about 40 individual public artworks, thereby creating the IUPUI Public Art Collection. The students created an article template, added GPS coordinates to all artworks in the collection, and engaged Wikipedia editors in discussions about original research, notability, and categories.
