The next AICCM Book, Paper and Photographs Symposium will be held at the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, from 17-19th November 2010.

The committee is seeking abstracts of 300 words in length regarding the conservation of paper, books and photographs in general.  There is no specific theme for this conference.  Presentations should be tailored to around 20 minutes in length, with written papers of approximately 3000 words to be included in a published set of Symposium Preprints.

Possible ideas may be an innovative treatment that has been recently carried out on works on paper, books or photographs; any interesting research that has been conducted into areas such as artists’ materials, conservation materials, display and storage methods; or perhaps even share some considered insights and discussion of issues relevant to the profession.
