AICCM accepts advertising for print and web publications.
Print advertisementsAdvertisements for events, jobs and commercial suppliers of conservation materials can be placed in our print publications, the AICCM Bulletin and the National Newsletter. Contact the appropriate Editor, who will raise an invoice with the AICCM Secretariat. Payment must be received before the advertisement can be placed. Advertisements for AICCM events and other events of interest to members, at the discretion of the Editor, are free of charge. Job advertisements - webTo advertise a job vacancy or tender on this site, click on the "Add Entry" link on the "Jobs" main page. You will be able to enter brief details about the position and upload a job description in document form. You will then be taken to Paypal to complete payment, by credit card ($110 per advertisement; advertisements are posted for 30 days). To arrange payment via cheque or electronic funds transfer, please contact the Secretariat before placing your advertisement. Please note: You do not have to be an AICCM member to advertise on this website. However, if you are not an AICCM member and have added an entry, you will need to contact the AICCM Secretariat if you wish to make changes to your advertisement. If you are an AICCM member and were logged in when you added your entry, you should be given the on-screen option to edit your own entry, once you have logged in again and navigated to your advertisement. All entries will require approval from our Secretariat before being listed on our site and so may not appear immediately. Once your entry has been approved and paid, the Secretariat will also send out a notification to members, via the AICCM mailing list. Adding to "Advertised Suppliers" - webIf you would like to advertise with AICCM, please click on the "Add Entry" link on the "Advertised Suppliers" main page. You will be able to add brief details about your business and the products and services you supply, and can upload your logo, images and documents. Images and logo files must be less than 300MB in size. The small blue "question mark" icon that appears next to some fields gives additional information about entering data - roll your cursor over the icon to see the advice. You will be then taken to Paypal to complete your payment online, via credit card ($330 for six months). Your advertisement may not appear on our site immediately; all advertisements are first approved by our Secretariat. Adding to "Specialist Suppliers" - webAICCM members can add contacts to this online directory. You will need to be logged in to add entires. Click on the "Add Entry" link on the main "Specialist Suppliers" page. You will be asked to add contact, address and other details. You will also be asked to include your name as the person adding the listing, so that you can be contacted individually for personal comments. A business entry can be added to five of the categories appearing at the bottom of the online form - click on the appropriate category title and then on the >> symbol to transfer categories across. Businesses who are AICCM members themselves can add their own business to these listings. AICCM likes to support specialist suppliers, as they are often rare, but please note that this area is not intended to be a source of free advertising. Please remove any "advertorial" content prior to posting. Please note that your listing may not appear immediately on the site; postings are first approved by our Secretariat. Event notifications - webMembers can add events to our listings. To add an event, please login (via the homepage or the link in the page footer), navigate to the "Events" page and click on the small 'calender' icon at the lower right of the introductory text. Fill out our online form for approval and inclusion. Include venue details, where possible. A number of venues used for AICCM events in the past are already stored in the system; if the appropriate venue does not appear in this list, you can add a new venue. Adding address details for venues enables the "Google Maps" function to work. Please note that the Events software is quite particular in how data is entered, in order to enable features such as the Google Maps function. The small yellow "light bulb" icon to the right of some fields offers advice on how to enter data - hover your cursor over the icon to see the appropriate information.
Select the most appropriate category for your event - e.g. "Paintings", "AICCM Victorian Division" etc. This will ensure that your event will appear on the appropriate Special Interest Group or State Division page. Enabling "Registration" allows AICCM members to RSVP for your event. When the event is viewed, a list of members who have RSVPd will appear below. Event listings are free.
