The AICCM Bulletin is a hard copy journal published by the Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Material in order to:
Encourage research activity in conservation
Disseminate new information gathered about the nature, condition, deterioration and treatment of cultural collections within Australia and the Asia-Pacific region
Present a forum for new ideas and thinking with regards to conservation management, conservation ethics and wider professional concerns
Disseminate new information that is useful to the conservation profession world-wide.
The Bulletin does not accept papers that have been published elsewhere, with the following exception: papers that have been presented at AICCM SIG meetings, conferences or workshops in the form of Pre-prints, Post-prints, articles or presentations that have not previously been peer reviewed. Acceptance of such submissions is based on the importance of the research to the conservation profession, the benefits of it being published in a peer reviewed journal and clear reference to its earlier beginnings. Such submissions will be considered at the discretion of the Editor.
The AICCM encourages the submission of quality papers, including research reports, discussion papers, literature surveys, thematic bibliographies, summaries of research papers and dissertations. Contributions can be accepted in English only.
Past issues of the Bulletin are available below, as PDF documents. Material published in the last five years is available to subscribed members only; all other publications can be freely downloaded.
